Self Employed One Year Accounts

Are you self-employed and only have one-year trading accounts…? Despite what anyone says you can still get a mortgage! Have a listen to our 60 second clip and get in touch… hello@patrickjamessolutions.co.uk Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

Welcome to todays 60 second snippet on mortgage advice and today’s subject self-employed. Specifically, those that have been self-employed for one year. Every customer that has walked into our office or picked up the phone, those self-employed for one year has always started with that negative shrug of ‘probably can’t get a mortgage but I thought I’d give you a call’.  Anyway I’ve been in that boat. If you’re self employed, you start from somewhere. If you’ve got the experience in the industry, there are lenders out there who will look at your circumstances and still allow you, with one years self-employed, the ability to get a mortgage and purchase of property. Just because you’re in your first year and you’ve only got one year’s proof of self-employment i.e. one year’s full accounts doesn’t mean that you can’t get a mortgage. For your first year in business to be successful in that first year anywhere is maybe the hardest point. If you’ve made a profit and you’ve got an income from it speak to someone that knows what they’re doing.
