what you’re thinking is that this is a buy to let. You’re right if you buy the property to put a tenant in that is a buy to let however in the forces if the right property comes up that you would love to live in in the future you can purchase that property now with that intention to move into it. That could be because it’s not anywhere near your barracks, it’s miles away but it is the property that you want to live in, but because you’re in service you’re unable to buy and move into that property today.
